Bike Marking Event at the Community Fridge Summer BBQ Ysgol Trefonnen

Dear Resident,

Thank you for taking the local priority survey recently, your ongoing feedback about local issues of concern is vital in order to enable us to target resources effectively. Although you did not raise Cycle Theft as a concern in your last feedback, this issue has been raised by other members of your local area so we thought you would also like to receive this update.

In partnership with BikeRegister, the UK's National Cycle Database, we have secured Bike Marking kits to help deter and prevent bike theft and increase the chances of stolen bikes being recovered and returned to their rightful owners.

In conjunction with Llandrindod Wells Community Fridge officers will be attending the Summer BBQ at Ysgol Trefonnen on Friday 7th August 2026 between 14:00hrs and 17:00 hrs to give local residents the chance to have their bikes security marked and registered for free.

Please make sure to bring your pedal bike along and speak to PCSO 8041 and 8052 if you are interested in registering your bike with the scheme.
